COST-2118 Silicone Sealant for Hollow Glass(RTV-2)

COST-2118 is two-parts, neutral, room temperature cured silicone sealant for hollow glass.

Characteristics

1. COST-2118 is two-parts, neutral, room temperature cured silicone sealant for hollow glass,

which does not pollute the environment.

2. With excellent bonding property, it can be applicable to automatic or manual production line,

and can be used together with butyl rubber using in sealing cracks.

3. No need for coating while use this silicone sealant, there is good adhesion to a large variety

of materials, and excellent resistance to ultraviolet ray.,

4. Not to be mixed with polysulfide sealant. It can be used in glass curtain wall with invisible frame.

5. COST-2118 accords with Chinese JG486 Standard for Flexible sealant for hollow glass.

Instruction of Usage

1. Clean smear and dirty of surface with cleaning agent before coating.

2. Blending method: blend part A and part B in the proportion of 10:1- 15:1 to alter the speed of

curing of the product.

3. Coating method: Both coating with machine and manual work should coat in the same direction

so as to avoid air from being interfused, otherwise, the property for sealing of hollow glass will

be reduced.
